We make a point of actively working to upskill our producer base. Initiatives like The Academy and sectoral programmes such as Delivering Growth Through Wholesale enhance skills, broaden networks and grow business. 

Accreditation Programmes 

We recognise the importance of technical accreditation and that’s why we provide support and encouragement to our producers to achieve SALSA and BRCGS accreditation 

Provision of Data and Insights on Programmes 

How do consumers view Scottish products and which ones could help you meet your business goals?  Where are the gaps in your range and how are you performing against the rest of the market?  We have the market intelligence and key insights to help you understand your audience and meet their needs.

Showcasing Scotland 

This event offers UK and international food and drink buyers and Scottish suppliers an unparalleled commercial opportunity on a truly global scale. Three days of carefully curated events that showcase the best of Scotland’s produce and help to build new trade relationships and secure future business. News on the next Showcasing Scotland event will be announced soon.  

Targeted work 

We introduce buyers to producers who can meet a desired need. This can take the form of informal introductions or be arranged at meet the buyer events.  Our infrastructure makes it easy for us to do all of the leg work identifying the right producers, scheduling meetings, hosting events and communicating with applicants.

Graduate placements 

The graduates we fund take on roles in host businesses focused on growing their sales.  As well as enabling more Scottish sourcing this scheme aims to attract talented people into the sector and build a pipeline of future leaders and entrepreneurs in Scottish food and drink.
