Nine of Scotland’s finest producers proudly showcased their products in London at Speciality & Fine Food Fair earlier this week as part of a Scottish Land of Food and Drink pavilion.

Taking place at Olympia during Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight, the trade show for local, regional and artisan food and drink producers saw exhibitors, buyers and visitors flock to the Fair over the three days.

Retailers, caterers and wholesalers, want to sell more high quality, innovative, unique, artisanal products with strong provenance, and Scottish food and drink satisfies this need and demand from consumers for high-end goods.

Exhibitors on the Land of Food and Drink pavilion included: Pekoe Tea, Raven Spirits (Hrafn Gin), Slange Var (Grown Up Foods), St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese, Stag Bakeries, The Ethical Dairy, The Scottish Salmon Company and Walkers Shortbread, featuring alongside Shortbread House of Edinburgh, our Golden Fork winner for the best product from Scotland at the Guide of Fine Foods Great Taste Awards 2019.

Stephanie Pritchard, Head of UK Market Development at Scotland Food & Drink commented:

“Trade exhibitions are an important part of companies’ sales strategy and presenting under the Scotland a Land of Food and Drink pavilion is highly valued by exhibitors.
“The strong regional presence enables companies to showcase their products and businesses to a wide range of UK and international buyers from a number of speciality sectors in one place.
“As well as our regional pavilion we also have a strong Scotland Food & Drink presence. This enables us to strengthen relationships as well as develop new ones with buyers looking to get involved in more Scotland Food & Drink activity, such as our Showcasing Scotland event taking place next month and other Meet the Buyer activity.”
