Macsween launch Scottish veggie crumble into the USA for the first time

Scottish Veggie Crumble is the first export to the USA in almost 50 years for the iconic haggis brand Macsween of Edinburgh. 

Scottish Veggie Crumble has finally reached American consumers since Macsween of Edinburgh internationalised their Vegetarian Haggis for the USA market.

James Macsween, Managing Director of Macsween of Edinburgh, said: 

"We at Macsween are delighted to be exporting again to the USA after 49 years! 
"Finally, American's and the ex-pat community within the USA will be able to enjoy the UK's Most Loved haggis brand, loved for its' award-winning taste and texture. This is a huge milestone for Macsween to be expanding internationally and leading the way in plant-based food exports. 
"My grandfather, Charlie, would be very proud to see how far we've come from his original butcher's shop in Bruntsfield, which he opened back in 1953". After all, it was John Macsween, who invented the world's first vegetarian haggis in 1984.
